The ”Free Game Real Estate Podcast” is based in Charlotte, NC. It is hosted by Ed Averette, a top Broker/Realtor® with The Averhome Group/EXP Realty, and Terence Guess, a Certified Mortgage Advisor with TEG Mortgage/Atlantic Bay. The podcast aims to educate consumers on current trends in the real estate market and provides a platform for discussions on real estate, culture, empowerment, and the real aspects of the industry.
In the final installment of this three-part series, Bre Gaither, Ed, and Terence get real about the balance between marketing yourself and leading a team — and why posting "just sold" isn't enough without showing the story behind it. The conversation shifts into staying visible and relevant in the business (Ed shares what happened when he took a month off and only posted lifestyle content), navigating boundaries with clients who blur professional and personal lines, and real talk on safety in the field — including Bre's account of a scary moment during a solo open house. They close things out with a rapid-fire round covering the one habit that changed Bre's business, the biggest waste of money for agents, what skill to master first, and her advice for building a successful career and life. Bre also announces her upcoming exclusive investor event on July 16th.

212 How Visibility Builds Wealth: From HGTV To Top 40 Under 40
Part 2 of our deep dive with Bre Gaither picks up right where Part 1 left off. Terence and Ed press Bre on whether social media is making real estate agents better, or just better at looking good. Bre breaks down the real math behind her 60% social-driven business, the double standard Black women in real estate face around image and "reading the room," and how she landed her HGTV feature through nothing but weekly follow-up emails. The back half gets personal: balancing leadership, family, and grief after losing her aunt, why BG Luxe operates like a family instead of a brokerage, and the "secret agent" problem — agents doing great work but never posting it. Plus: her Real Producers Top 40 Under 40 recognition and what it means to be one of three Black honorees in that magazine.

211 The Curated Experience: Inside BG Luxe Realty's Blueprint For Success
Bre Gaither, founder and broker-in-charge of BG Luxe Realty, sits down with Ed and Terence to break down how she turned a disappointing first home-buying experience (a $2 cupcake and a promised bottle of wine that never showed) into a six-figure luxury closing experience that's now become the industry standard. She traces her path from starting in real estate during COVID lockdown, through five different brokerages (eXp, Upsurge Realty, Compass, Realty ONE Group, Henderson Ventures), to launching her own firm in January 2025. Bre gets real about what it actually costs to run a brokerage — payroll, systems, training — and how she vets every agent who wants to join her team. Part 1 of 3.
