<p>Pamela Hobart had a difficult time when her son, who was suffering from mental health issues, was shot five times by a police officer called to help. She initially felt immense rage which was fuelled by her own beliefs about the situation. However, she eventually realised that everyone makes mistakes and she was able to forgive both herself and the involved police officer. God works in all of our lives, even in the most difficult of times, to make sure that good comes out. He desires for us to know the truth, so that we can understand Him and receive His grace. Through His protection and guidance, He will carry our burdens and bring us out of the darkness into light.</p>

005 - FIJM - Words of Hope - Joe Narvais
<p>Joe was sentenced to two life sentences for an illegal action, and following 15 years with the help of God he was set free. His family had faith that he would make it out, and the realization of his freedom only occurred when he heard it from a fellow inmate. As part of his journey out of prison, Joe joined a prison ministry, worked hard and became dedicated to getting out. Realising the power of faith and belief, he noted that it can take us to places we never thought possible. Taking charge of our lives and claiming our destiny with words is instrumental in achieving whatever we desire. Additionally, learning from different people and having an open mind can be beneficial in many unexpected ways. With the Lord’s help, Joe obtained his freedom and believes that through faith and trust in God, we are able to experience life differently. </p>
