   Ep. 12 Theology Whiplash Vol. 2: Communion, Aliens, and Why Gen Z Is Coming Back

   What do communion, aliens, Gen Z, and church denominations have in common? Apparently… they all make for some pretty good theological whiplash. 😂 In Episode 12 of Freedom Table, Josh and Joey sit down for another Q&A-style conversation tackling some of the questions Christians are asking—and sometimes arguing about. We dive into: 🍞 Why do Christians believe so differently about communion? From Catholic transubstantiation to Orthodox mystery, Lutheran sacramental union, Reformed spiritual presence, and the memorial view. 👽 Would discovering intelligent alien life threaten Christianity? What does Scripture actually say, what does it leave unanswered, and what can we learn from C.S. Lewis's thoughts about life beyond Earth? ⛪ Is Gen Z really coming back to church? We look at recent data suggesting younger generations may be more spiritually curious than the narrative surrounding them would have us believe—and ask what they're actually searching for. 📖 Why are there so many Christian denominations if we all believe the Bible? We trace some of Christianity's theological family tree and talk about the difference between essential doctrines and issues where Christians can faithfully disagree. But underneath all four conversations is a bigger question: Can we pursue truth, hold convictions, and still extend grace to people who disagree with us? Because the goal isn't to win every theological argument. It's to make disciples. Curiosity isn't the enemy of faith. Pride is.    Ep. 10 Why Don't Christians Follow the Whole Bible

   Freedom Table Episode 10 tackles one of the biggest questions Christians wrestle with: Why do believers follow some parts of the Bible… but not others? If bacon is forbidden in Leviticus, why do Christians eat it? If the Bible talks about Sabbath laws, festivals, mixed fabrics, and tattoos… what still applies today?
