FNW Pod Ep.5 - Living in a Hispanic house hold w/Special Guest (Bryan!), Language Barriers, Mental Health, Money, Work Ethic, Food, Music, and Culture.

The on going Kendrick lamar, J. Cole, and Drake feud is how we start off this episode. We talk about the rappers discographies and how they compare with each other. What are favorites are from some of the artists and how the shots that have been fired, have impressed us. In this episode, we have a special guest... our friend Bryan!!!! Circumstantially, we decided to take his presence at the house and interject him into our topic of living in a Hispanic household. This is a middle school, mutual friend of both the hosts. Throughout the episode we relive our experiences living different lives but having the similarity of being latino. We talk about our childhood adolescence, the language barriers that arise when learning the foreign language our parents and family members speak. The write off of mental health as something nonexistent in a lot of latino households. The hardworking work ethic of most country changing hispanics. Being envious of such work ethic but also being wary of not overworking yourself into a grave. We also converse about our culture that being the FOOD and MUSIC.

FNW Podcast Ep.4 - 2023 Recap (WE'RE BACK), A Look Back on This Past Year and How it Affected Us, Onto 2024 "The Year of Playboi Carti", and 2024 Plans and Aspirations.

In this episode of the podcast we reflect on the past year of our lives, are experiences', how they affected us, and what we worked on. As we move into a new year we discuss the past year and how we could improve coming into a new year. The things that moved us in the past and how we can continue and succeed, learning from past experiences. We talk about the traveling that we did in 2023 and the implication of stepping outside of our comfort zones and being open to new events in our lives. We look at the year of 2023 for music considering its one of our driving factors for our podcast. The year of 2023 started off a little slow as far as super solid great musical efforts, but as the year went on more and more releases surprised listeners. Lil yachty for example dropping "Let's Start Here" was an amazing effort coming full swing to start the year off. "Mansion Music" was a polarizing drop coming from Trippie redd, a personal favorite artist of mine (Lonely Boy). He later dropped "A love letter to you 5" which was my favorite release of his in the year 2023, he then surprised dropped "Saint Michael". To quick name more notable drops; "Pink tape", "Utopia", "Scaring the hoes", "Quaranta", "Census Designated", "Scrapyard series"- by Quadeca,"New Blue Sun". This new also brought some new talent and i was made aware of artists such as, Teezo Touchdown, and Westside Gunn.

In this episode we roll out a new segment on the podcast (Record Swap) name is currently in the works. We essentially give an album to each other to indulge, dissect, review, first impressions, and just overall give our thoughts about the album. We also talk about new releases in the music landscape, such as Travis Scotts' "Utopia" and Lil Uzi Verts' "Pink Tape". Discussions about the state of Hip Hop/Rap also arise due to us seeing how the genre seemingly is on the decline as of late.
