Special Guest Episode Featuring Rodo Escalante: From Free Diving to Mental Health Mastery through CO₂ Tolerance & Breath-Mind Navigation

In this episode of the Embodied Voice Breathwork Podcast, I have the honor of welcoming my dear friend Rodo Escalante. Rodo’s mission is to bring simple, sustainable awareness tools to individuals struggling with neurological disorders, empowering them to find their center and live a more harmonious life. His own journey—from navigating ADHD, dyslexia, and autism to becoming a professional deep diver—led him to develop Alchemy: Rewire, a comprehensive breathwork system designed to help individuals move beyond mental limitations and into mind-heart coherence. Rodo’s experience in freediving revealed a profound connection between breath control, neurological function, and mental clarity. By practicing controlled breath holds and CO₂ tolerance techniques, he discovered that he could achieve the same emotional and mental alignment in 20 minutes that others might seek through hours of meditation. This realization became the foundation of his method, which now serves as a bridge for others seeking alternative approaches to mental health and personal transformation. We explore: Alchemy: Rewire – How Rodo’s system integrates breathwork with neuroscience to rewire the mind. Rodo’s personal journey – From neurodivergence to deep diving and the insights he gained along the way. Breathwork and mental health – How CO₂ mastery can help alleviate anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other neurological challenges. The science of breath control – How breathwork impacts the vagus nerve, nervous system regulation, and neuroplasticity. CO₂ Tolerance & Navigation – How training with elevated CO₂ levels can enhance performance, improve oxygen absorption, and strengthen neurological pathways. Scientific validation – Rodo’s biometric studies with MuLabs, revealing the physiological impacts of CO₂ on the prefrontal cortex, emotional regulation, and overall well-being. Join us as we dive deep into the intersection of breathwork and neuroscience, uncovering groundbreaking techniques that can help rewire the mind, regulate the nervous system, and unlock greater resilience, presence, and self-connection. Whether you're new to breathwork or a seasoned practitioner, this episode offers valuable insights into the untapped power of your own breath. Rewiring Love: Breathwork & Vocal Activation Cord Cutting Ceremony

This guided breathwork and vocal activation ceremony guided by Fern Olivia, founder of Embodied Voice Breathwork (www.embodiedvoicebreathwork.com) is designed to help you release old relationship patterns, subconscious blocks, and self-sabotaging tendencies, making space for deep, healthy, and aligned love. Through conscious connected breathing, breath holds, and vocal affirmations, we honor the past relationships that shaped us while letting go of those that no longer serve our highest evolution. With each exhale, we remove cords, dissolve restrictions around the heart, composting and transmuting old emotional ties into nourishment for our soul’s growth. Here, we code a new blueprint for healthy love and relationships by brain rewiring affirmations, releasing loops, old narratives, and unhealthy cycles and replacing that with a blank canvas for a love and intimacy. This is a go-to practice for returning home to yourself, reconnecting with your intrinsic worthiness, and attracting relationships that align with your true desires. As you breathe, you affirm: I am free to give and receive love generously. I am safe to feel, to release, and to transmute emotions into joy when I am ready. Allow your heart to guide you back to your power, knowing that love is your birthright, and you are fully worthy of receiving it. Love this episode? This is a very special episode to guide you in accepting and loving all parts of your self, featuring the incredible vocalist Maywa, and the music from ALUNA and N Λ T U R R I T U! In this journey together, we welcome in the breath to navigate and relax into the knowing that we are loved by spirit, in all our feelings and expressions. We invite you to call forward the intention of liberating yourself fully as you are met with unconditional love and support from Mother Earth, your higher self, and the collective energy of all creation celebrating that we are safe to share the richness of this human experience together. About AYNI: Ayni, or Andean Reciprocity, states that everything in the world is connected. One interpretation of Ayni is that when we can truly love ourselves in all states, we can fully love and accept all beings as they truly are. This is a deep and pure way to heal our relationships and humanity, collectively as one united tribe. About Maywa: Maywa is one of my first mentors in the Embodied Voice practices and we are very grateful to share her magic with you today. Maywa spent more than 10 years traveling and living in Africa, South America and Central America (México, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Chile, Peru, Colombia). She lived several years in the jungle and started to write her own medicine songs. She deepened her connection to the plants and spirit world as she was guided to remember her gift. Also she savoured 2 years with indigenous women and grandmothers of the Shipibo tradition of Peru. The biggest inspiration for her music originates from listening to nature. She writes and sings her own "Icaros" in ancient indigenous languages like Quechua, Mapuche, Shipibo and Kogi but also in Spanish and English. Her songs are soul-fueled and pure prayers for the earth and humanity. By listening and tuning into nature and the subtle realms of creation, Maywa guides people into their reconnection with nature and alignment with their essence through her unique way to create sound journeys and voice embodiment workshops.Bandcamp: https://maywa-yaku.bandcamp.com (https://maywa-yaku.bandcamp.com)Soundcloud: soundcloud.com/maywa (http://soundcloud.com/maywa)Spotify: open.spotify.com/artist/0dChoTLv7Af0baOzH5UZlt (http://open.spotify.com/artist/0dChoTLv7Af0baOzH5UZlt)Instagram: www.instagram.com/maywamusica/ (http://www.instagram.com/maywamusica/)⋅◈⋅Maywa is available for sessions & Mentorship of Embodied Voice. This is a special edition of Embodied Voice Breathwork® with Fern Olivia, featuring the angelic soulful vocals of Anah, a medicine woman and musician in Costa Rica. Throughout Fern Olivia's guided meditation and breathwork practice, Anah weaves in her original channeled icaro and a prayer to Lakshmi, the Hindu Goddess of wealth, fortune, power, beauty, fertility and prosperity. Here, we breathe with the intention to receive abundance with integrity - abundance that is meant for you, abundance that gives spaciousness, freedom, purpose, generosity, humility, power in ways that serve, power in ways that give back, and power in ways that elevates and expands consciousness. Through a hypnotic holotropic breathwork practice, we surrender into the receptivity and flow of abundance in and out. As we sing our soul song for abundance to manifest in physical and spiritual form in our lives, our prayer becomes known by the Universe and we fully claim the crown of our abundance.
