Return of the Geek

After an unexpectedly long hiatus, your favorite geek commentary returns. Tune back in to hear me rant about time travel, vent about so-called hoverboards, and the return of the infamous why I wear a jacket segment. As always, send any comments, questions, or concerns about my sanity to mail@1geek2another.com

Robot Romance, Time Travel Mysteries, and a Space Cowboy

Nobody asked but this episode proves that Science Fiction is the superior genre because it has all the benefits of the other genres. After a bit of clarification about the genres, examples of overlap are discussed. In other news, the "why I wear a jacket" segment has returned by a surprising amount of popular demand. Any arguments about the validity of my claims can be sent to mail@1geek2another.com where I will attempt to prove that I am right, probably.

The Book was Better

You probably can't change my mind but you're welcome to try. *SPOILERS IN THIS EPISODE* I discuss some major plot points of the first Percy Jackson book; other minor spoilers for Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, and How to Train your Dragon. This is a rather heated rant about how I feel the movie industry has messed up movies based on the books I enjoy. Short version: You can make a movie that is different than the book, but you have got to market it the right way. Expectations people; it is all about expectations. Send any suggestions, comments, questions, or concerns about my mental state to mail@1geek2another.com
