S6 E11: Lydia Becker's Legacy: Stories from her childhood home
In this co-hosted episode of From a Lancashire Lass, Sophia and I visit Moorside House, home to the Grove family, Heath, Kelly, Jericho and Eden. This house was once the home of Lydia Becker, the women's suffrage pioneer. We talk all about Lydia and her legacy, her friendship with Charles Darwin and the character of her childhood home. We also talk to the family about how the house has inspired their book series, 'The Series of Silence', and how they have created different gins to accompany each book in the series.
