Podcast Overview

This is your space of reconnection to the spiritual place inside of you and beyond you that is whole, wise, and loving. It is the place from which we can make better choices, have more dynamic relationships, and live more fulfilling and nourishing lives. We explore the idea of a loving Higher Power or Spirit that is present in our lives and that we are a part of, along with real life challenges, and how to reconcile being spiritual beings in an inherently messy world. Conversations draw from Dayal's ten years living as a monk, more than two decades of study and practice in the Vedic yoga tradition, and his experience using Internal Family Systems to co-create a world of healing and transformation with clients, students, and friends. You'll find honest and personal reflections from Dayal along with special guests on inner parts work, spirituality, and how to consciously live from a place of Self. Episodes are released weekly on Mondays. Connect personally and learn more: consciousearthinsitute.com Follow: instagram.com/dayal.gauranga/ Email: dayal@consciousearthinsitute.com

Running towards vs running away

Today we look at what it looks means to run towards healing and spiritual growth, without running away from our past. Often times, especially in the beginning, we find ourselves doing a bit of both, and it takes conscious reflection to make the shift towards honesty, authenticity and integration of all the parts of us and all the aspects of our story.

To learn more about our work with Internal Family Systems and somatic work, to explore our trainings, or work with either Rasika or Dayal 1-1, visit: consciousearthinstitute.com

Follow us on instagram:

Dayal: instagram.com/dayal.gauranga/

Rasika: instagram.com/consciousearth/

Email for questions, connections or collaborations: dayal@consciousearthinstitute.com

Ep. 20 Allowing Hope

Sometimes it's hard to believe in hope, because there may be parts of ourselves that protect us from the anticipated pain of allowing hope and then being let down. When the world and people disappoint us, it's natural for these parts to develop such roles. To simply force hope or positive thinking may not work with them.

We can, however, learn to compassionately listen to the deeper story behind our skeptic parts, our doubtful parts, our worried parts, or any parts inside of us that are afraid to let us believe in a better life and better future. We can get to know these parts, understand what it is inside of us that they are protecting, and make internal agreements with ourselves to care for those wounded parts in ways where the outside world doesn't have to be so dangerous, because we are caring for ourselves rather than expecting others to do it for us.

We can then begin to invite hope into our lives, because we are connected to our true Self, who is connected to a greater Spirit and Higher Power, which can never be damaged, taken away, and is always present to offer us love, acceptance, and even hope.

To learn more about IFS, sign up for our training, or work with me 1-1, visit:

consciousearthinstitute.com
