Podcast Overview

Updated tone for Season 3: An audio trail journal of faith, family, and inner processing—where everyday life is spoken in real time, not polished afterward. This podcast is a walking companion through ordinary days, transitions, and the quiet inner conversations that happen in between. Here you’ll find real-time reflections on faith, motherhood, work, and the rhythms of daily life—shared as they’re being lived, not after they’ve been figured out. Some days are peaceful. Some are messy. Most are somewhere in between. Rather than offering polished answers, this space offers presence—inviting you to notice your own life more gently, and to remember that you’re not alone in the process of becoming. If you’re looking for something highly produced or neatly packaged, this may not be it. But if you’re looking for honesty in motion, and a quiet place to walk alongside someone else thinking through life as it unfolds—you’re welcome here! Pockets of Peace

Episode 5- Pockets of Peace

I’m taking you along with me today on a walk between cleaning jobs, stopping briefly at home to check in on my kids—one already at work, the others still enjoying a slow summer morning.

What’s on my mind today is pockets. Pockets of peace, play, and stillness tucked into ordinary, full days that don’t often give us long stretches of quiet. I’m learning not to wait for life to slow down, but to notice the small moments already here.

I’ve also been reflecting on how social media affects my mind—how subtle comparison can build restlessness over time. After stepping away from it for a year and returning, I’m more aware of how quickly my inner quiet can feel crowded again.

So I’m choosing differently where I can: more walking, more prayer, more presence, and simpler ways of noticing life as it is. Small, quiet faithfulness in the middle of everything.

My hope for the spaces God is helping me create is the same—that they feel like quiet places to breathe in a noisy world. And that you are reminded that even in a full life, peace and playfulness can still be found in pockets!

Morning Rhythms & Extra Magic Hours

Episode 4: Morning Rhythms & Extra Magic Hours

This morning is quiet, and I move through my usual rhythms—helping my husband get ready for work, checking on my kids, and tending to the small, ordinary tasks that shape our home. I’ve done versions of this for over twenty years now, and while it can feel routine, I’m learning to see it as something meaningful.

I step outside into cool air and birdsong and take a slow walk down the road. A deer stands in the field and watches me back, and for a moment everything feels still and awake at the same time. I notice how easy it is for life to look polished on the surface while feeling messy underneath, like a perfect front yard and a chaotic backyard existing at once.

Walking helps me slow down. It clears my mind and turns scattered thoughts into something more grounded. I’m reminded that most of life isn’t solved all at once—it unfolds step by step, like a walk down a road and back again.

There’s comfort in that. In quiet, in honesty, in the idea that even in the middle of uncertainty, there’s still direction for the next step. And for now, that’s enough.

The In-Between Seasons

I reflect on how quickly my children are growing: one stepping into full-time work, one preparing to start driving, and one still very young and eager for my attention.

I’m honest about the mix of joy, sadness, and anxiety that comes with watching seasons change, especially with my own history of grief shaping how I handle uncertainty. In the middle of it all, I feel God inviting me to trust Him more deeply.

This episode centers on learning to rest instead of rush, to let go of control, and to live in the “in-between” with faith—taking one small step at a time and finding strength in returning to God.
