[…] It's just a shot for shot remake. Think Back to the Future. So Back to the Future had all the numbers. Apparently, Dirty Dancing is not really much of a musical. I'm not a big Dirty Dancing fan. I've seen the movie, I think, once. It's a cult classic movie. Many people adore it. Their arrival to Broadway will mark the movie's 40th anniversary. So that's certainly a check in their column. People are going to want to come and celebrate this show. But I just think that Broadway is elite. Certain things should be a certain status. And Broadway is losing that quality, especially when like Beaches, I just have to be honest, was one of the lowest quality musicals I've ever seen. […]
