If they can’t grow it on their farm or catch it from their fishing boats, they buy from carefully chosen suppliers.</p><br><p>We delve into what retailers might look for in a producer, how best to get in touch with retailers and what you can do to prepare yourself for a meeting with retailers. Episode 2 - From the Start(up) with Hatari
<p><strong>Welcome to Episode 2 of 'From the Start(up)' with Hatari </strong></p><br><p>In this Episode we're talking to Annie Mae from Hatari - Hot Sauce to Cool the Planet. Hatari is a seed to source Hot Sauce company based in Devon.</p><p>So, they are pretty cool, they grow their own Chillis on their farm in Tanzania where the farm is run and managed by an all female staff. The great thing about this show is that we make mistake, and talk to people that have made mistake, so that you don't have to!</p><br><p>Early on when we started our business there were so many things we didn't know, so many unanswered questions. Back then we wished we had a resource that wasn't overly technical, but one that could help us understand some of the basics of starting a business. That's what we're trying to do for you!</p><br><p>If you have any questions, we'd love for you to ask us!
