Ben Marsh is father of the hugely talented Marsh Family, whose online musical videos cheered us all during lockdown. They continue to entertain us with original songs and parodies of popular tunes. Frequently using their profile to promote good causes and highlight important issues, their Christmas single, a cover of "Keeping the Dream Alive" in support of East Kent Hospitals Charity and their Tiny Toes campaign for neonatal and special care baby units, is now available. Ben talks about his and his family’s journey and the importance of being mindful of mental health issues in these increasingly challenging times.

Ned Blackburn - From There to Here

Check out our interview with the hugely talented Ned Blackburn. Writer, actor, producer. Is there anything he can't do? Ned's tender, funny and powerful play An Adequate Abridgement Of Life As A Homo was one of the biggest hits of Edinburgh Fringe 2024 and will, no doubt, be equally succesful in 2025.   Ned talks to us about his journey so far, how he got to the Edinburgh Festival and about the homophobia he encountered at his boarding school.   Ned is a star of the future. Clare Milford Haven - From There to Here

Our latest From There to Here podcast interview is with Clare Milford Haven, founder of James’ Place. This is the charity she set up after her son took his own life at 21. With centres in London, Liverpool and Newcastle, James’ Place is a resource for men in suicidal crisis. Since it was established, 3,000 men have been through the doors and received help which, on many occasions, has saved their lives. Clare is one of the most remarkable people I have ever met. To use an unimaginable personal tragedy as motivation to help save other young lives is incredible. What James’ Place has achieved is quite magnificent. If people listen and are able to like and share on social media, we have the chance to spread the word about this wonderful initiative. If one person in suicidal crisis hears the interview and reaches out for help and/or one person who feels able to help with a donation or undertaking some sponsored activity, gets in touch with the people at James’ Place, we will have achieved something very worthwhile. We just might save a life. Further information on James’ Place can be found on their website: https://www.jamesplace.org.uk/
