El poeta maldito Arthur Rimbaud es ahora un traficante de armas en el Cuerno de África. Allí intenta montar una caravana y vender miles de fusiles al rey de Abisinia. Sueña con ganar suficiente dinero para regresar a Francia y finalmente vivir en paz. Pero el destino tiene otros planes para él y un final muy diferente. Como la espera parece interminable, Rimbaud se convierte en otra persona, logrando el punto de no retorno. Los días pasan, el calor es insoportable y sofocante, la luz del sol es omnipresente. SPLENDID HOTEL es un acto poético, la historia de una desaparición y el comienzo de un mito.</p>
