In this episode, Ashley and Judith chat about emotional literacy. They connect over how feelings were (or weren't) talked about growing up, what it looks like to come to greater emotional awareness later in life, and whether there's such a thing as too much focus on your inner world.

Ep. 9 Let's Get Coffee Sometime
In this episode, Ashley and Judith chat about the phrase "let's get coffee sometime". Ashley wanders through the rich history of the coffeehouse as a gathering place, and together Ashley and Judith get curious about what we're really reaching for when we throw the phrase “let’s get coffee sometime” around in our everyday lives.
A quick note: in this episode, Judith attributed the quote "Science may never come up with a better office communication system than the coffee break" to Earl Wilson the baseball player. It's actually credited to a different Earl Wilson, the American newspaper columnist and author.
