Full Carts is a podcast about shopping experiences. In each episode, hosts Devin and Andy visit a store and discuss what it was like, along with any thoughts and memories that get churned up. They then distill their observations into a highly subjective Cart Score of 1-4 Carts: How well did it work for them? The show is founded on an appreciation of the desire to understand, express, and improve ourselves through our things, and an affection for the people and places behind memorable shopping moments. Affable consumption under capitalism.

Has Full Carts come up with the next Honey Deuce (https://usopenshop.org/collections/honey-deuce/)? How do Funko Pops (https://funko.com/) keep funkin’ around? What should a solo, non-rare Pokémon card cost? Are those Blossom (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GWC4OPQ?) DVDs worth it? Are the days of deals done? Is a slow elevator a chance to freak out, or to meditate? Can Bookoff bring back some of that sit-on-the-floor-and-read-in-a-store culture??

The Movie Theater Shopping Experience
Devin and Andy discuss a matinee at Regal Essex Crossing (https://jkrparchitects.com/projects/regal-essex-crossing/). Have you had any magic merch moments? How do you decide what movies to see? What is your personal ideal moviegoing era? Has Alamo Drafthouse really fallen off (https://www.indiewire.com/features/commentary/alamo-drafthouse-sucks-now-1235188253/) that much? What is gained and what is lost when movie seats get more luxe? Concession stand or in-seat delivery? Would you be excited about a movie filmed entirely with IMAX popcorn buckets (https://store.regmovies.com/collections/popcorn-containers/products/the-odyssey-imax-film-camera-popcorn-bucket)??

The American Dream Mall Shopping Experience
Devin and Andy get together with Jared again to discuss American Dream (https://www.americandream.com/), in the shadow of MetLife (briefly NYNJ) Stadium. How is this mall only 9 minutes from Rutt’s Hut (https://www.ruttshut.com/)? What is the true measure of mall size (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_largest_shopping_malls_in_the_United_States), really? Is "Galleria" a classic mall name, or too generic? What is the proper balance between stores and amusements? Will American Dream ever be fully open? How fun is watching people ski? Can we get a Barnes & Noble and Newbury Comics (https://www.newburycomics.com/) in here? Why no talk about the Bergen County Blue Laws (https://www.njspotlightnews.org/2026/05/bergen-countys-no-retail-on-sundays-blue-laws-face-test-in-court/)? Is the ideal mall just Dream Riders (https://www.instagram.com/dreamriders.group/)??
