Les is BACK — and there’s plenty to talk about.
Alice and Les are breaking down the Black Ferns’ latest battle with the Red Roses at Twickenham. Would they have kicked it out? What were the biggest takeaways from the match? And, most importantly, what does it tell us about how far the Black Ferns have come over the past 12 months?
They also zoom out to the wider women’s rugby picture, reflecting on USA v Wales and France v Canada and what those results reveal about the growing depth and competitiveness of the international game.
Then it’s back home for the Farah Palmer Cup semi-finals and a schedule that leaves fans with an impossible choice. All games are locked in, none are televised, you can only be in one place at a time. So… which one are you watching?
Alice and Les look at the semi-final match-ups, who they expect to make the final, and which team has the strongest case for earning promotion back to the Premiership.

With both sides having shifted over the past 12 months, Alice looks at how those changes reshape the expectations for this weekend’s match. What could prove the difference when the Black Ferns take on the World Champions.

They discuss Arene Landon-Lane’s call-up and the ongoing run of injuries affecting Black Fern captains, before turning their attention to the Farah Palmer Cup. There’s plenty to like about the young talent coming through, but also a look at the challenge facing players who have to pull teams together across wide areas of the country.
