<p>Christoph Ruys was 17 toen hij het werk van Wolfgang Tillmans leerde kennen via i-D magazine. 30 jaar later beschouwt hij het oeuvre van Wolfgang Tillmans nog steeds als een voorwaarde om de relevantie en de actualiteit van het fotografische (als oudste van de nieuwe media) echt te begrijpen.<br> <br> Christoph Ruys is voormalig directeur van het FotoMuseum en het ModeMuseum in Antwerpen. Hij cureerde onder meer tentoonstellingen met Craigie Horsfield, Erwin Olaf, Roger Ballen, William Klein, Anton Corbijn, Paul Seawright, Guy Bourdin, Albert Watson en Ed Van der Elsken. Als uitgever verzorgde hij monografische titels voor onder meer Daniel Sannwald, Yohji Yamamoto, Vincent Fournier en Serge Leblon. Als auteur en onafhankelijk curator focust hij zich op het fotografische, schermcultuur en actuele iconografie.</p>

Kortom, wat doén we eigenlijk online en hoe gebruiken we daar beelden voor?</p>
