In her role, Mencl oversees a variety of the league’s legal functions, ranging from labor and competition matters to league governance affairs. A Kent State University Sports Administration graduate with a Juris Doctor from Cleveland State University College of Law, Mencl's career includes work with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Mid-American Conference, and Division I college athletics programs.
