Mango Margarita - Take Care: A Reminder and "See You Later"
<p>Full circle moment: we’re closing out the season with a margarita in hand—mango this time, because it’s finally the season for it! We wanted to leave you with something real before we go: the importance of self-care. We get into what it looks like for us, how we actually practice it, why we think it matters, and what we hope you take away from this little corner of the internet. Think of this one as our short and sweet parting gift. We’ll be back. But first, we’re taking our own advice.</p><p>Thanks for sticking with us for a whole season! We had such a great time sharing a little piece of ourselves with you. While we’re gone, leave us a review, share us with a friend, or drop us a comment—we’ll still be here and reading everything. We’re excited for what’s to come! </p><p>Mango Margarita: </p><ul><li>3 parts tequila (most recipes call for Silver, but we still go for a gold reposado)</li><li>2 parts cointreau</li><li>2 parts mango puree (from frozen mango juice, fresh mango juice, or mango nectar – note mango nectar will be slightly more sweet)</li><li>2.5 parts lime juice</li><li>1 part simple syrup (or agave syrup) *you might skip this depending on how sweet your mango is</li></ul><p>Some like to add a bit of chili powder or spice to the rim but we keep it simple with a classic salt rim. </p>

Coronarita - One of Many Pet Peeves
<p>After last week, we felt like going for a lighter vibe. So we sat down with each other's list of 10 pet peeves and read them out loud, turn by turn. What followed was a lot of "wait, SAME," a few "okay but WHY though" moments, and honestly just a lot of laughs. Oh, and we're drinking coronaritas — because yes, beer in a margarita is a pet peeve of ours. And yes, we leaned into it just for the theme — not because we enjoy it!</p>

Lavender Drop - Anxiety and How We Calm It
<p>We're back! Between the world feeling a little chaotic and the Iran-US conflict hitting close to home (literally), we needed a minute. But, we’re ready to return to our new “normal.” This week, lavender lemon drop in hand (nature's little chill pill in cocktail form), we talk about what we’ve all likely felt at some point, and what surfaced for us in different ways lately: anxiety. We share when it first crept in, how it shows up, how we deal with it, and the unfamiliar nature of how it’s manifested recently. During our little escape to India for a couple of weeks, we validated that a cocktail and good company may not fix everything, but for us, it’s the closest thing to medicine. Come catch up with us with something lavendery! It’s supposed to calm the nerves – consider this episode your glass. </p><p>Lavender drop: </p><ul><li>1.5 part vodka</li><li>1.5 part lemon juice</li><li>1 part lavender syrup </li><li>1 lavender sprig for garnish</li></ul><p>Hindi translation:</p><ul><li>"Agar apni jhopadi mein namak se bhi roti khao toh swad lagti hai" - The most basic meal tastes gourmet in your own house.</li></ul>
