<p>What if the real problem isn't that you don't want to go beyond yourself, but that you've been going so hard for so long you feel like you have nothing left to bring? In John 15, on the night before the cross, Jesus calls Himself the true vine and tells His disciples to remain in Him before anything else. <p>What if the hunger underneath our striving is pointing us to something only Jesus can satisfy? In John 6, Jesus declares, “I am the bread of life,” revealing that He is not just the one who provides, but the one who truly sustains us. This message invites us to stop chasing what can never be enough and come again to the living bread who satisfies our deepest hunger. <p>This week, James explores Jesus’ powerful declaration in John 11: “I am the resurrection and the life.” Through the story of Lazarus, we see that the delay of Jesus does not mean the absence of Jesus, and that even the dead things in our lives are not beyond His resurrection power.
