G&G Episode 16: Ruth a personal story
CW : sexual and gender-based violence, suicide, oppression Ruth lives outside of Montreal without internet, but she was able to come into the studio to share her perspectives and experiences. She talks about her involvement with Gayline, Children’s Aid and Gay & Grey. Ruth was placing children in foster care just as the organization was beginning to allow gay people to foster children. Her worked helped pave the way for some of the rights and freedoms we enjoy today. This episode was recorded at the Sud-Ouest Recording Service, and produced and edited by That Nikki You Know. The Gay & Grey Montreal Podcast is a proud new member of the Upford Network of podcasts! This network was an obvious choice for us knowing how committed they are to providing queer-friendly programming and supporting the community.
