[…] So Dale's bisexuality is made pretty clear from episode two. He never uses the word bisexual. And while I know that's sometimes a negative trope for bi characters, many, many moons ago when we made our Let Bygones Be Bygones episode, we talked about the sort of unwillingness in a lot of works featuring bisexuals to actually have them call themselves bisexual. I believe with the newsreader and like with Dale specifically, it's actually like a very intentional choice because I think Dale is someone who struggles to articulate his feelings, especially because he has pressed his sexuality for so long and compartmentalized it as well.
