This episode is titled "Lum and Abner Go to Washington" and originally aired in 1949. This is a rare, remastered copy and I hope you enjoy it.
I've left in the original commercials from the 40's to preserve this radio show's integrity.
Lum and Abner was an American network radio comedy program that aired from 1931 to 1954. Modeled on life in the small town of Waters Arkansas, the show proved immensely popular.

Welcome back folks to the Geezer Gus Presents™ Comedy Series ! I'm so thrilled you tuned in, and that your day is going great.
Today's comedy episode is a classic from the My Favorite Husband Radio Show starring Lucille Ball. This episode is titled "Valentine's Day."
While remastering this radio episode, I left in the original commercials, the way they were played in 1949, to give you a more authentic listening experience.
This was a popular comedy radio series in the 40's that your parents and grand parents probably listened to, and really enjoyed, especially with Lucille Ball entertaining before her wildly popular I Love Lucy series.
