#06 - Fabian Lehr: Klimakampf heisst Klassenkampf!
Die Klimakrise ist inzwischen zu einer existenziellen Bedrohung für den Menschen geworden. Der Ausgang des Klimakampfs wird darüber entscheiden, ob auch in Zukunft auf diesem Planeten noch eine natürliche Lebensgrundlage vorhanden sein wird, auf der menschliche Zivilisation möglich ist. Aber wieso ist es in diesem Kampf unbedingt notwendig – trotz der unbestrittenen Dringlichkeit – zunächst einen Schritt zurückzumachen, um die Klassengesellschaft, in der wir leben, in den Blick zu nehmen, bevor wir zur Tat schreiten? Sprich: Wieso soll der Klimakampf überhaupt eine Klassenkampf sein? Sitzen wir nicht alle im selben Boot? Die bei FFF relativ prominente „System Change, not Climate Change!“-Parole wirft zwar die Frage nach den systemischen Ursachen der Klimakrise auf, bleibt aber – solange das Wort „System“ nicht mit Inhalt gefüllt wird – sehr unkonkret. Was ist hier mit „System“ gemeint? Und wieso ist es wichtig die Funktionsweise dieses Systems zu verstehen, wenn die Ursachen der Klimakrise wirklich beseitigt werden sollen? Oder kann es doch einen „grünen Umbau“ des Systems – also des Kapitalismus – geben, wie ihn das Parteiprogramm der ‚Grünen‘ verspricht? Diese und weitere Fragen hat Fabian Lehr im Rahmen des Vortrags „Klimakampf heißt Klassenkampf!“ für unseren Podcast thematisiert.
