Solidarität, Organisierung, Arbeitskampf - warum Gewerkschaften wichtig sind
<p>16 Stunden arbeiten und das 7 Tage die Woche ist tödlich und war früher die Norm. Auch Kinderarbeit von unter 9-Jährigen war alltäglich! Geschlafen wurde mit 10 und mehr Menschen in einem Raum und in Schichten. Hunger, Krankheiten und Verwahrlosung waren an der Tagesordnung. Kranke oder Arbeitsunfähige wurden entlassen und ohne Hilfe auf sich allein gestellt. Im Frühkapitalismus vor 150 Jahren begannen die Menschen sich gegen dieses Elend zu wehren. Die Arbeiter schlossen sich zusammen in Genossenschaften und Gewerkschaften. Gewerkschaften wurden zu Beginn kriminalisiert, die Herrschenden ließen auf Streiks schießen und die Anführer einsperren oder ermorden. Doch die Macht der Gewerkschaften stieg, weil sich immer mehr Menschen den Kämpfen angeschlossen haben! Irgendwann mussten die Herrschenden die Gewerkschaften anerkennen und somit auch ihr bedeutendstes Kampfmittel: den Streik! Mit dem Erstarken der Gewerkschaften wurde das Leben für alle besser! Es kam der arbeitsfreie Sonntag, der 8-Stunden-Tag, das Frauenwahlrecht, die Demokratie, die Betriebsräte, das Kinderarbeitsverbot, das Arbeitslosengeld, die Lohnfortzahlung im Krankheitsfall, der gesetzliche Urlaub, die Rente, das Kindergeld, das Wohngeld und vieles mehr! Heute leben wir in einer Zeit, in der wieder an den sozialen Errungenschaften gesägt wird. Die Superreichen vermehren ihre Vermögen ins unermessliche und die Gewerkschaften sind noch zu schwach um diese Entwicklung zu beenden. Betonwahn stoppen! Kleingärten retten!
<p>Wer im Grünen lebt ist glücklicher, so auch die ca. 5 Millionen Nutzenden von Kleingärten. Besonders viele Kleingärten gibt es in Ostdeutschland, so gibt es beispielsweise 16.000 Kleingärten in Rostock und mehr als 25% der Bevölkerung nutzen diese. Im Kleingarten wird Gemüse und Obst angebaut, Urlaub gemacht, sich handwerklich betätigt, sich künstlerisch entfaltet und oft auch viel geredet. Die kleinen Gärten ermöglichen Nah-Erholung und bieten für Tiere und Pflanzen viele Nischen. Die Artenvielfalt ist hoch. Viele Gartenfreunde bewirtschaften die Flächen biologisch und verzichten auf Chemie und Kunstdünger. Die meist öffentlichen Kleingartenflächen sind sehr günstig und so werden diese auch von ärmeren Leuten gepachtet. Man kann über 1000 Euro jährlich durch den Eigenanbau erwirtschaften. Leider wurden und werden Kleingartenanlagen auch abgebaut, obwohl sie sich zunehmender Beliebtheit erfreuen. In Städten wie Berlin gibt es zur Zeit keine freien Gärten. In Zukunft sollten alle Anspruch auf ein Stückchen Grün haben und die Regelungen zur Bewirtschaftung von Kleingärten müssen menschenfreundlicher werden. So sollte das Übernachten, wie schon zu DDR Zeiten, selbstverständlich erlaubt sein.
