GEN-Teach’s mission is to shift the perception of teaching and revitalise the dialogue within the education sector and beyond. We are here to amplify the voices of our LGBTQI+ teachers, our NQTs, our black and Asian leaders, and those living with disabilities. Now is time for real visibility and representation.
Sexuality in the education sector has been treated as a taboo for too long. As part of GEN-Teach’s mission, we aim to normalise the identities of marginalised groups by having honest conversations to address the negative stigmas which exist within the British education system. Get into the conversation with @MsEastmond & @RobertDaleEdu alongside their amazing guests, Kourtney Hansen and Simon Santhanam, as they explore the challenges of being an LGBTQ+ educator and solutions to tackling homophobia amongst students and staff.
