<p>Volgens The New York Times maken jongeren een groot deel uit van de groep die protesteert. Daarnaast schrijft PR News Wire dat meer dan 60% van degenen die meedoen aan protesten tussen de 18 en 34 jaar oud is. In deze vierde en laatste aflevering staat de vraag “Hoe zien jullie de toekomst als het gaat om de uitkomst van deze protesten voor je” centraal.</p>

<p>Over de hele wereld wordt geprotesteerd tegen politiegeweld of wordt er geprotesteerd uit solidariteit. Volgens NBCNews waren er protesten in 41 landen. Nederland is een van die landen, met demonstraties onder andere in Amsterdam en Den Haag. Aflevering drie heeft deze wereldwijde protesten als centraal thema. Hoe kijken de Amerikaanse jongeren aan tegen andere landen die protesteren?</p>

<p>De BlackLivesMatter beweging werd in 2013 opgericht. Dit gebeurde na de vrijspraak van de agent die een andere zwarte man, genaamd Trayvon Martin doodde. Op hun website roept de BLM beweging in hun gevecht tegen politiegweld, nu op tot het niet langer financieren van de politie. In aflevering twee bespreek ik met deze Amerikaanse jongeren wat hun kijk is op de BlackLivesMatter beweging en de ernst van politiegeweld.</p>
