Dreaming of Home Ownership & The Future of Property

Happy Genfluence Monday, To bring the month to a close, we have an exciting episode that will have you dreaming about the future of property. In this episode I chat to Sibiya, an aspiring role player of the built environment who is currently doing his honours at the University of Cape Town in Quantity Surveying. Sibiya has a keen eye for planning, directing and coordinating bodies of work. He is immensely passionate about property development, real estate and architecture. This passion led him to completing a number of internships during his undergraduate. As an extension of his passion, he recently started a Youtube Channel, called Let's Prop'In which has over 1000 subcribers. The channel is centred around exploring and showcasing some of the most beautiful residential properties in South Africa. Building Brands, Businesses & Slow Fashion Habits.

Happy Genfluence Monday ! Today’s podcast is the boost you need to get your week started. In the first ever Genfluence guest episode, I chat to brand builder and entrepreneur Kishana Naidoo. Kishana is the former brand manager of one of South Africa’s favourite cult beauty brands SwiitchBeauty, as well as the former African business development representative for Meltwater, a global leader in AI & Media Intelligence. Today she is the brand communications executive at the advertising agency, MetropolitanRepublic. But by far the most important is that she is the co-founder of a peer to peer clothing rental platform named Shared Collective, who are doing their part to ensure that your clothing is working for you and not the other way around! Shared Collective is all about sharing what we have in order to create a space for conversation, connection and collaborative consumption.
