Inclusive design addresses among other things the needs of particularly vulnerable user groups. Through this, concepts are developed that are beneficial for a much wider range of users by incorporating additional sense and creating more holistic experiences. Alexandra Verdeil is a specialist for inclusive design at tactile studios. Carolin Pauly ist geschäftsführende Gesellschafterin des Instituts für Universal Design und war Mitgründerin des Netzwerks Universal Rooms, das ganzheitliche Einrichtungskonzepte für das Wohnen im Alter entwickelt. Natur und Pflanzen werden nicht erst sein Ansätzen wie dem Biophilic Design als Zugänge und Werkzeuge einer gesundheitsfördernden Gestaltung betrachtet. In dieser Folge nähern wir uns dieser Thematik in unterschiedlichen Größenordnungen. Vom kleinen Healing Garden des Pflegeheims, über gesundheitsfördernde Landschaftsgestaltung bis hin zur quartiersübergreifenden Stadtplanung. Wo und wie können wir natürliches Grün (und Blau) effektiv als Gesundheitsressource nutzen und was sind dabei Klischees und Vereinfachte Vorstellungen eines zunehmend stark beforschten Fachgebiets?<br /> <br /> Nora Huxmann ist Gärtnerin von Herzen und der Pflanze in ihrem Studium der Landschaftsarchitektur in England und Deutschland treu geblieben.
