06. What Did We Learn? What's Next? Hear from our students!

In this episode, students from our advisory boards discuss what they learned this year and we pass the podcast host torch to Cade Malinowski! We have many new members to the group from a wide range of backgrounds.  We talk about their favorite classes and professors, new software and techniques learned, favorite artists, and more. Then, we talk about how we will spend time this summer including internships, out-of-class learning, and self-directed projects. Finally, we conclude with what we are looking forward to in the Fall. 05. The Importance of Mental Health and Wellness with Betty

In this week's episode, we get a chance to speak with the CIGT Department's Academic Advisor Betty Klein! Not only does she advise students, but she is also a certified yoga instructor and has been studying wellness for the past 5 years. During this quarantine time, it is important to take care of each other by practicing social distancing, but to also take care of ourselves. In this talk, Betty explains the three Cs students need in times of crisis, the things we can do in our daily routine to help our mental well being, as well speaking with two student advisory board members who have their own questions about how to deal with mental health.  Music by LAKEY INSPIRED.
