An "awesome" episode. Or is it?! American versus British English
In the same way that there are differences between Spanish spoken in Spain and Colombian Spanish, there are many differences between American and British English. A fanny pack conjures up quite a distinct image in Britain compared to the US. And innocently asking for a fag in New York might see you getting some rather strange looks. Awesome man! Or is it?! <br /><br />De la misma manera que existen diferencias entre el español de España y el español de Colombia, hay varias diferencias entre el inglés que se usa en los EE.UU. y el inglés británico. <br />'Fanny pack' es algo muy inocente en Estados Unidos pero en Gran Bretaña, suena un poco raro. Y una persona de Londres pidiendo un 'fag' en Nueva York recibiría una sorpresa. ¡No sería tan 'awesome'! ¡O tal vez sí, sería magnífico!

Translating something in Spanish word for word into English often leads to confusion or, worse still, the completely wrong message being transmitted.
