Get Labeled! Indie Music Roadmap with Pat Foran, Season 2 Episode 22 - "Wassail-ing Along" with guest Mari Lwyd

A robust chat with the band Mari Lwyd. Who are they? Four friends, veterans of varying musical backgrounds and different areas of creativity making sounds throughout the Lehigh Valley and beyond. A true all-included songwriting process fuels their creative collaborations.

Their stylings range from 60s doo wop to indie country, Tom Waits vibes, straight rock, and more. "We love to collaborate and each of us bring a different style that comes together into a pretty unique sound. As a newish band formed in 2021, we have a lot of goals for this year, like recording an album, playing a few local shows, and going camping in the mountains of Pennsylvania".

For more info goto:

https://www.youtube.com/@marilwydband

https://marilwydband.bandcamp.com/

https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100089138508157

Get Labeled! Indie Music Roadmap with Pat Foran, Season 2 Episode 21 - "Flooded Memories" with guest Ian Patrick Gentles

A good talk with my neighbor, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Ian Patrick Gentles of Working Class Hussys. We talk about his newest Indie Music project, and the ongoing recovering from the 2021 flooding in our hometown of Lambertville, NJ.

The band puts out a sound that deftly blends soaring harmony vocals, crunchy guitars, and big choruses into music no other group could make. Gentles spent a dozen years as an open-road trucker and comes by his American twang honestly. As such, Working Class Hussys use Southern, Heartland, and Alt-Rock influences interchangeably to create unforgettable original songs about the lives of everyday people.

For more info on the Web - workingclasshussys.com

On Social Media - workingclasshussys
