And in this industry...aren't we always? How to we keep moving intentionally and most effectively at the end of one chapter while transitioning into the next? Maybe it's the end of a project, going into post, changing your main hyphenate, connecting or reconnecting with creative partners, or maybe it's a personal transition for you at the moment; reconning with a major life change, while trying to hold down the fort of your dreams.

Jazzy Collins is the first Black Primetime Emmy winner for Reality Casting for her work on the first season of Peacock's The Traitors, and was previously nominated for Amazon’s Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Girls. Jazzy’s other casting credits include 5 seasons for The Bachelor / Bachelorette franchise, Very Important People, Love Island USA, and over 40 other TV and feature projects across all genres!
On this episode Jazzy, dispels the rumors of the audition room, strips away the smoke and mirrors of the casting world, explains the hierarchy of titles in Casting within scripted and unscripted, who actors should reach out to to get on that casting office’s radar, how to green light the work you want to see, her best advice for those interested in a career in casting, and of course the whole experience of winning an Emmy!!
