Welcome to Get Your Sh*t Together, the podcast that’s all about navigating your early 20s — the mess, the lessons, and everything in between. Hosted by Emily Saumure, each episode dives into the chaos that is adulting, from navigating living in a big city after growing up in a small town, real talks about relationships and dating, figuring out how to manage finances and get your bag, attempting to not have a quarter life crisis post-grad, and trying to figure out how the hell to make sense of it all.
In this space, we’re embracing the chaos and figuring it out together because let’s be real,
We’ve all been there , deep into an internet rabbit hole, suddenly convinced you have every symptom of a mental disorder. And let’s be real, at some point, you’ve probably wondered if you have ADHD or ADD.
Now LISTEN, I get it. You struggle to pay attention, your life feels like organized chaos, and procrastination is basically your full-time job. But here’s the thing… that doesn’t always mean you have ADHD. Sometimes, it’s just a case of bad habits and burnout showing up as classic ADHD symptoms.
Whether you’ve been officially diagnosed or just feel like your brain’s running 10 tabs at once, this episode is for you. We’re diving into all things ADHD. From avoiding the self-diagnosis trap to my most embarrassing ADHD moments, my journey with meds, and the tips that actually help me get my sh*t together.
Grab a snack, try to stay focused (lol), and let’s talk ADHD

Confidence, Insecurities & ED's
This episode is one near and dear to my heart. I’ve never had a difficult time being vulnerable ( especially on the internet) but I have always left out a few details of my eating disorder story out of embarrassment and fear.. but for the first time today I’m opening fully up and hoping that it can help others.
Please note I am not a doctor, therapist, or have any qualifications to be discussing this matter other than my lived experience. While I try to give my advice and perspective in attempts to help others, my advice is not the end all be all. Take what resonates with you and leave what doesn’t. While editing this episode there are a million things I wish I would have remembered to say or word differently but healing your relationship with your mind, body, and soul is an on going conversation that doesn’t need to end with this episode.
If this subject is one that may cause you to be triggered/ be harmful to your mental health I advise against tuning in. However the first 10 mins of the episode is all about building confidence in your 20s and navigating insecurities un related to food. 💕
