In this episode I talk about the death of a dear colleague and friend whom we've lost unexpectedly. His death made me realize how so many of us aren't living. We are so afraid to step into the path intended for us because we allow the opinions and fears of others to cloud our judgment. We are all born with desires, dreams and a purpose to fulfill. All of my life I have struggled with weight. In this episode I want to let you all know that a number in the scale does not define you. You are more than just your weight and we need to love ourselves in our own skin. Health is important but obsessing over weight isn't!

How is Resentment serving you?
What is that point of letting yourself be consumed by resentment. Don’t let resentment consume you. Sit down with yourself and think of all those who you have feelings of resentment and figure out why. Then take the lesson that experience has provided you and let everything else go. Turn the narrative around, find what you could learn, how you could be better and slowly see the peace that it will bring into your heart. As always remember, to put the emphasis on you!

You are enough!
Childhood trauma can definitely play a role in the kind of person we become. It can affect the decisions we make, and can create stories in our head that aren't necessarily the truth. My childhood traumas played a role in my feeling of unworthiness and me not feeling like I was enough. Today, I come here to tell you that I AM enough, and so are YOU!

Forgiving yourself is never easy, but its a necessary part of the healing journey. We have all made mistakes in our lives, and will probably continue to make them. From those mistakes we learn, grow and evolve! Remember we are not the mistakes we make, we are so much more than that!
