We all know something isn't quite right with the world right now. Many can see it and feel it but few have been able to put their fingers on it quite like Christy Chavers Stutzman (https://www.booksbychristy.org/). Mrs. Christy Stutzman is a small business owner, writer, advocate for pro-liberty issues and the wife of former US Congressman Marlin Stutzman. She is co-owner of The Barns at Nappanee, Schönbrook Farm, Show Hauler RV and several other businesses in northern Indiana. From 2018 – 2020 she served as the Indiana State Representative for District 49. She is highly respected for her knowledge of legislative issues, American history and conservative policies. Not only does Mrs. Stutzman walk the walk but she also talks the talk.
Christy's latest book is The Spiritual Price of Political Silence (https://www.endgamepress.com/store/p/spiritualprice) and in it she explains how our collective silence has led us down the road we are in but also how if we will turn to God and lift our voices up to Him, we can turn this around.
America is a gift and as such can be easily taken for granted. History shows us though that the enemy never rests and it's his desire to steal this gift of America at any cost and by any means necessary. It's up to us to do our part now, first we pray, then we listen and then we speak.

Getting out of the Boat with "Child" behind the Bucket Ministry, Savannah Elery
"And a child shall lead them." "Kids are better seen than heard." Two true statements but not always accurate. Savannah Elery is Chris Beth's daughter and it wasn't until one day when she came home from a youth group meeting that her dad was forced to get out of the boat. You see, Savannah had this idea about going on a trip to the Amazon jungle and serving God. The idea was great but she was only 16 years old. As a father of daughter myself, there is no way on God's green earth I would let my daughter go alone with a group to the Amazon much less downtown Los Angeles.
It was because of Savannah that Chris had to go and through that trip Chris was audibly instructed by God to "help them" and the Bucket Ministry (https://thebucketministry.org/) was formed.
Savannah isn't unique in that she has some special skill but rather she's unique because she let God use her in a mighty way even though she was only 16 years old. What a great testament to obeying God her life shows and what a great example it is for us.
No kid likes to hear "do what your told" from our parents. We also don't like it too much when God the Father says it but the joy that comes from it and the eternal changes that will happen make it all worth while.
I hope you enjoy today's show as much as God did in creating it 12 years ago.

The war in Ukraine has waged on now for nearly two years with no end in sight. Thousands of people have died, been made into refugees and billions of dollars have been spent. Our MSM has done their best to push a narrative as has the Russians. How though has the church fared? Well, today I think you're in for a special treat as you will learn things about Ukraine that you likely had no idea about before as we sit down with Mission Eurasia's (https://missioneurasia.org/) Don Parsons.
I will freely admit I had some preconceived notions about Ukraine and I was so keen on doing this interview as I selfishly had questions I wanted answers to as I'm sure you do as well.
The great thing about God is that He is big enough to help every ministry under the sun and even those not yet launched. He just needs us Christians to do our part and walk the path and help. We can all do something so I encourage you to pray today and ask God what He would have you to do.

Getting out of the Boat with Bible Memory Goal's Josh Summers
Proverbs 7:1-3 is very specific instruction for believers. It says, " My son, keep my words and treasure up my commandments with you; keep my commandments and live; keep my teaching as the apple of your eye; bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart."
God's teachings come from God's word. In John 1:1 it says this " In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
To know God is to know His Word and His words. Today we get a real life example of this as we spend time with Josh Summers. (https://www.joshsummers.com/) Josh is a husband to one wife, a father of two strapping boys and an entrepreneur who has lived most of his adult life in Asia.
Josh was once stuck without the word of God and it forever changed him.
Back in 2017, while living in a politically sensitive region of China, Josh was taken in by local police and put in a small prison cell. Although he only ended up being held for 8 hours during this first of many police encounters, it was a wake-up call for him.
That was the day he realized that if he had his Bible and all digital devices taken from him…
…he didn’t have much of the Bible committed to memory.
Josh decided to get out of the boat and he created www.biblememorygoal.com (https://www.biblememorygoal.com/) and has since made it his passion to help lead others to Christ through the memorization of God's word. I can think of no better goal for 2024 than to commit to memorizing entire books of the Bible just in case things go sideways and all you're left with is your two hands and your memory.
