Engels is haar eerste taal en mijn tweede. :-) Naast dat Barbara verbonden is als opleider van trainers is voor de Academie van Positieve Gezondheid, is zij actief met haar bedrijf 'Be rooted'. En dat vond ik leuk om haar over te spreken. Hoe past compassie bij een brede blik op gezondheid. Zo 'doeners' zoals wij zijn... hebben we ook in het gesprek een meditatieoefening van 5 minuten erin zitten :-)

In deze bijzondere aflevering ga ik in gesprek met Jan en Maria Grijpma. Maria is samen met Inge Jager schrijver van de reeks - Klein Geluk. In het verleden is ze onder andere palliatieve verpleegkundige geweest. Maar in deze aflevering ga ik in gesprek met haar vader. Een zeer bijzonder man die een rijke leven heeft gehad. Jan is ook heel bewust elk jaar bezig met zijn wilsverklaring met zijn artsen af te stemmen. Hoe we willen leven en sterven is niet statisch. Wat een veerkracht laat deze meneer in zijn leven zien.
