   Episode 39 - Mic Check!!!

Ghostreaders EP 39 - Mic Check!!! In this episode of Ghostreaders Podcast, Michaé and Quintell dive into some essential topics around content creation, audio production, and the responsibilities that come with it. They kick things off with a discussion on mic technique, pointing out common mistakes like improper positioning and how important clear audio is for effective communication. The duo wonders whether seminaries and other training programs address these key skills. Next, they chat about their annual year-end activities, including creating memorable videos with children and starting a “good news jar” to capture all the positive moments throughout the year. Michaé and Quintell also share what they’re reading right now—books that range from personal growth to ministry-related material. You’ll hear them dive into books like Breaking Up with What Broke You and The Slight Edge, and even reflect on how introverts differ from those who are shy. As they move on, the hosts talk about their love for audiobooks. They get into the idea of stopping a book to process what’s been heard and mention different Bible versions they’ve been exploring. The conversation shifts to content creation and the responsibilities creators have when taking breaks, particularly referencing YouTuber CoryxKenshin. They debate whether creators owe their audience an explanation for long absences. As the discussion deepens, Michaé and Quintell ponder whether authors, like content creators, are obligated to produce sequels or more content, and how external factors—like new publishers or producers—can impact creative decisions. They also get into the role of AI in content creation, discussing how it’s being used in audiobooks and commercials. While AI can be an efficient tool, the hosts agree that it can’t yet replicate the emotional depth and nuances of a human narrator. Plus, AI might not be able to do the editing to the same standard that a skilled person can. Finally, the episode wraps up with a powerful reminder: action over perfection. Michaé and Quintell encourage listeners to take the leap and get started rather than waiting for everything to be perfect.
