The GhoulTalk Podcast (formerly Hell and High Horror) is hosted by Austyn, a Forensic Mental Health Counselor, and Repy, a high school teacher. Best friends for over 15 years, Austyn and Repy dig into all things true crime, paranormal, unexplained, and just plain spooky.
#150 - Cults Part III (Not BBB Recommended): The Modern Mystery School & Michael Woroniecki's Cornerstone Christian Fellowship
This week on GhoulTalk, Austyn and Repy dive into two stories where belief, control, and charisma collide in unsettling ways.
Austyn kicks things off with the Modern Mystery School, a real-life spiritual organization built on alien encounters, DNA activation, and a self-proclaimed master with a history of reinvention. From Iceland to Utah and beyond, this story explores how mysticism, money, and manipulation can blur the line between enlightenment and exploitation.
Then Repy takes us into the disturbing story of Michael Woroniecki, a radical street preacher whose extreme beliefs and fear-based teachings have been linked to lasting psychological harm—and even tragedy.
Grab your crystal wand (or maybe don’t) and prepare for an episode that explores how far people will go in the name of faith, power, and transformation.
Our theme music is a derivative work featuring samples from Scream (1996) and The Shining (1980).

#149 - Unexplained Events Part IV (Give the Curb a Little Kiss): The Lost Boys of Hannibal & Portlock Alaska
This week on GhoulTalk, Repy and Austyn dive into mysterious disappearances, cursed towns, and the terrifying possibility that sometimes people just… vanish.
Repy kicks things off with The Lost Boys of Hannibal, the chilling true story of three Missouri boys who disappeared in 1967 after exploring newly uncovered caves near a highway construction site. Then Austyn takes us north to Portlock, Alaska, a remote town that was mysteriously abandoned after residents claimed something in the surrounding wilderness was attacking people.
Grab your headlamp and maybe stay out of the caves (and the Alaskan wilderness) as we explore two unsettling mysteries where people walked into the unknown… and never came back.
Our theme music is a derivative work featuring samples from Scream (1996) and The Shining (1980).

#148 - Killer Couples Part II (Porn with a Plot): Michael and Suzan Carson & Alice and Gerald Uden
Some couples build a life together. Others build a body count. Austyn and Repy unpack the apocalyptic delusions that drove Michael and Susan Carson, aka The San Francisco Witch Killers, to slaughter anyone who crossed their path in the name of a holy war, as well as the quiet, calculated violence and mysteries surrounding Alice and Gerald Uden — proving that loyalty can be just as dangerous as obsession.
