New York Giants draft rumors and news today:
- Giants rumors suggest that the Giants front office and coaching staff are not in agreement on Shedeur Sanders and if they should select him with the #3 pick.
- Todd McShay said on his show that, “The coaching staff, obviously headed by Brian Daboll - the head coach, is anti taking Shedeur at #3.”
- McShay is also saying that, “Don't close the book on Shedeur with the Giants. Something’s going on there. I’m not sure in the last 24 hours, but as of 48 hours ago, there’s still a little push from the personnel department -- that’s Joe Schoen the general manager, his director of scouting, the college director all the scouts. I can’t say individually who it is, but apparently someone on that side or multiple people on that side are (saying), 'Let’s really consider Shedeur [at] 3.”

FINAL Mel Kiper Jr. Mock Draft | New York Giants Draft Rumors
NY Giants mock draft season is coming to a close as Mel Kiper shares his last NFL Mock Draft of the 2025 NFL Draft cycle. Giants GM Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll have a huge decision to make with what the Giants will do with the number 3 pick in the NFL Draft. ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. has made what he calls his final NFL Mock Draft and he has the Giants taking Penn State’s Abdul Carter with their NFL draft pick. Mel Kiper has the Cleveland Browns taking Travis Hunter with the 2nd overall pick, leaving the Giants to take the edge rusher over Shedeur Sanders. Kiper has not ruled out the Giants drafting a quarterback, but it is more unlikely with the signings of Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston. Mel Kiper does have the Giants taking a quarterback with the 34th overall pick taking Jalen Milroe. NY Giants Now host Marshall Green reacts to Mel Kiper Jr.’s 2025 NFL Mock Draft in this latest New York Giants YouTube video.
