This Workshop’s A Prison
Gift Up was produced by Local Business Comedy. This Workshop’s A Prison written by Stephen Perlstein Produced and Mixed by Alec Sherrie Recorded at Seaward Studios Vocals by Nick Gligor, Elizabeth Hayhurst Additional Instrumental Production by Luke Burba LYRICS: This workshop’s a prison And these children aren’t your friends Demanding thrills, gifts, twenty dollar bills And the wrappings are ripped and then gutted again And again There’s deers at the launch ramps, decorated wreaths And you may skate the grounds on fresh blades in blue knit gown But elves are not permitted to leave I know there’s a big world out there of colors more than red and green In our wrapping room late last night Bows were almost too bright to see And I know that it’s not a holiday if it happens every night Pretending there’s good will I’m scared of krampus When you’re building by candlelight What does it take to get egg nog in this place? What does it take, how long must I make? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

We Will Munch Gingerbreads
Gift Up was produced by Local Business Comedy. We Will Munch Gingerbreads written by Nick Gligor Produced and Mixed by Alec Sherrie Recorded at Seaward Studios Vocals by Nick Gligor, Elizabeth Hayhurst Additional Instrumental Production by Luke Burba LYRICS: I've got a workshop with lots of toys Filling my sleigh up for good girls and boys And I'm not coming home Until Christmas is over and I’m skipping the midnight mass flying around the world for snacks And I'm ho’ing at the top of my lungs Descending these reindeer onto some roof Some roof that isn’t mine And we will munch gingerbreads when the night is finally done Ho ho ho… I wanted to walk through a house with treats Unfortunately they had nothing to eat And all the gingerbreads were gone when I went to the store Because your parents just cannot bake, the cookies I eat at an alarming rate and my hunger won’t be put on hold, So no gifts for you And that’s why kids get coal (And it won’t be silent night) And we will munch gingerbreads when the night is finally done Ho ho ho… And we will munch gingerbreads when the night is finally done Ho ho ho… And we will munch gingerbreads when the night is finally done Ho ho ho… And we will munch gingerbreads when the night is finally done Ho ho ho… And we will munch And we will munch Learn more about your ad choices. Clark Griswold
Gift Up was produced by Local Business Comedy. Clark Griswold written by Stephen Perlstein Produced and Mixed by Alec Sherrie Recorded at Seaward Studios Vocals by Nick Gligor, Elizabeth Hayhurst Additional Instrumental Production by Luke Burba LYRICS: I was shopping in a Chi-town mall looking for an Under-Gown when it struck me That I've been waiting since March to find a tree that I’d cut down... like the movie So I changed my plans, hopped into the family Station Wagon and then I called you "I need you to pretend that it's Christmas time again" you said “Do I need to?” I want so badly to believe that “it’s the truth, that Claus is real" And I want cheer in every word, an ornament and a blizzard I got a gift, a jelly of the month club card, I reached my limit! The eve it called for snow but it is clear today so I'm angry My brain had snapped and I yelled "drum roll on the street" and then yelled "hit it!" And I light you in a style that Clark Griswold would have admired (That movie’s classic) I want so badly to believe that “it’s the truth, that Claus is real" And I want cheer in every word, an ornament and a blizzard I know budgets are tight this year, but do you ever get the fear That you'll be kidnaped despite the yule I want my bonus I want a new pool. Recycled Gifts written by Nick Gligor Produced and Mixed by Alec Sherrie Recorded at Seaward Studios Vocals by Nick Gligor, Elizabeth Hayhurst Additional Instrumental Production by Luke Burba LYRICS: I take a bite Of a cookie till there’s none in sight Santa’s feeling blue Day after Christmas and my job is through Ho ho ho ho…. Kringle’s beard is white As the old reindeer refrain from flight Last night? The moon Now it’s eggnog and a sense of gloom Ho ho ho ho…. I watch the children sift through their gifts on the twenty sixth And from here they can’t see I’m pissed The sad state of recycled gifts I watch the children sift through their gifts on the twenty sixth Calm down, they got their wish The sad state of recycled gifts Learn more about your ad choices. Children's Letters [Featuring Mrs. Claus]
Gift Up was produced by Local Business Comedy. Children's Letters [Featuring Mrs. Claus] written by Nick Gligor Produced and Mixed by Alec Sherrie Recorded at Seaward Studios Vocals by Nick Gligor, Elizabeth Hayhurst LYRICS: SANTA Will someone please call the elves in Who can pack my gifts and prepare this oaken sleigh Since I’m deserting you for the holiday I’ll just accept that it’s Christmas And I will shut the door like a creature leaving the house But never stirring; like a mouse from poetry So, just stay asleep in bed tonight And I swear I’ll be back by morning time Tell me as I fly to deliver trinkets, toys and sweaters I’d rather be with my wife instead of reading Children’s Letters MRS. CLAUS I feel the halls have been decked here You're getting carried away, putting pressure on your elves With all these visions of sugar plum fairies But dear I know it’s December I've made charts and maps that should make your route more clear I don’t need a lecture on why you have to leave So please board your sleigh and say Ho ho SANTA I am my darling, I love the snow... BOTH Ho, ho SANTA Tell me as I fly to deliver trinkets, toys and sweaters That you are still my bride even as I answer Children’s Letters (Tell me as I fly…) MRS. CLAUS I don’t mean to chastise but please be careful out there Kringle SANTA (Tell me as I fly…) MRS. CLAUS Children need this night as long as there are bells that jingle SANTA I know that I ate the fruitcakes that I swear I'll never devour again MRS. CLAUS You've got a belly i can't deny, But you have a job so Santa, fly... Santa, fly. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Sleeping In (On Christmas)
Gift Up was produced by Local Business Comedy. Sleeping In (On Christmas) written by Joey Clift Produced and Mixed by Alec Sherrie Recorded at Seaward Studios Vocals by Nick Gligor, Elizabeth Hayhurst Additional Instrumental Production by Luke Burba LYRICS: Last year, it was Christmas Eve Where a sleigh was pulled by Rudolph and his team. Where there was never any mystery of who old Santy Claus could be He was just an elf with nothing to prove Riding a sleigh pulled by nine reindeers’ hooves His belly jiggled like it had jelly in the center And became famous on that day in December It’s Christmas I plan on sleeping It’s Christmas I plan on sleeping in It’s Christmas I plan on sleeping It’s Christmas I plan on sleeping in Again last night, it was Christmas Eve Where a sleigh was pulled by Rudolph and his team. Where concerns about their Amazon prime orders The parents thought their kids wouldn’t get Transformers For telling children what they'd like to be gifted For being nice in hopes of being nice-listed For giving presents with the real name of the giver Now we can give any day in December It’s Christmas I plan on sleeping in (now we can give any day in December) It’s Christmas I plan on sleeping in It’s Christmas I plan on sleeping It’s Christmas I plan on sleeping in [x3] It’s Christmas I plan on sleeping in It’s Christmas I plan on sleeping HOOo hoOo hoOo [x2] It’s Christmas I plan on sleeping in It’s Christmas I plan on sleeping HOOo hoOo hoOo (It’s Christmas I plan on sleeping in It’s Christmas I plan on sleeping) It’s Christmas I plan on sleeping in It’s Christmas I plan on sleeping HOOo hoOo hoOo Learn more about your ad choices. Such Great Flights
Gift Up was produced by Local Business Comedy. Such Great Flights written by Stephen Perlstein Produced and Mixed by Alec Sherrie Recorded at Seaward Studios Vocals by Nick Gligor, Elizabeth Hayhurst Additional Instrumental Production by Luke Burba LYRICS: I am soaring through the skies. And the reindeer that do fly Are nearly limitless and when they trot they lift off to the sky And I have to speculate That Christ himself did bake Me decorated cookie cakes As festive goodies for my sleigh And you, you may seem like a grinch. But my sleigh won't move an inch Until you brush your teeth for bed And fall asleep without a flinch When you are out there in the snow For several weeks you hope And when you scan the gifts at home I know rudolph will guide me home They will see us flying in such great flights “Leave Gifts Now!” They’ll say But every gift looks perfect from far away, “Leave Gifts Now!” But, we’ll sleigh. I tried my best to leave The gifts under your tree But the assistant elf said they were grim Upon witnessing And that hanky will not fly. You will get the nicest ties And the clothesest clothes with the gifts unwrapped And Santa’s flying back home They will see us flying in such great flights “Leave Gifts Now!” They’ll say But every gift looks perfect from far away, “Leave Gifts Now!” But, we’ll sleigh. They will see us flying in such great flights They’ll say But every gift looks perfect from far away, “Leave Gifts Now!” But, we’ll sleigh.
