Is it better to keep your thoughts silent if it goes against the general consensus? Can you choose to live unaffected by some crimes and only permit yourself to be outraged when the group tells you it is ok? Are you only allowed to scream when a White police officer is the assailant in a crime against a Black person? </p>

Like so many great Philly firsts, this city gets little recognition for its official status as a city of numerous firsts. In this episode we will talk about some of those firsts or should I spell it "Phirsts". We will dig into the annals of Philly's history and learn some facts...well, maybe just highlight some tidbits. Gilly will also share some memories of when coming in first made her feel last and then we will time-travel to the Way Back- oh and there is a Mea Culpa too.</p>
