A Corporate Job Is Where The Creative Soul Goes to Die!
I’m DONE. And this time, I mean it.
In this episode, I’m talking about something that has been weighing heavily on my spirit: the corporate hamster wheel and the slow death of the creative soul.
Somewhere between deadlines, meetings, responsibilities, and asking permission to take time off from a life that belongs to ME, I realized something: I don’t want to spend the rest of my life working so hard to maintain a life I barely have time to enjoy.
I have a burning desire for freedom. Not just financial freedom, but freedom over my time, my creativity, my energy, and my choices.
I want to create. I want to explore my passions. I want to spend more time with my children and my mom. I want to wake up and feel like my day belongs to me.
And I am no longer asking permission to live that life.
Do I have every detail of my exit strategy figured out? Absolutely not. But what I DO know is that I’m quitting my corporate job, and I’m ready to bet on myself.
Sometimes the desire for change becomes so loud that you can no longer ignore it. That's where I am right now.
This episode is about reclaiming my autonomy, trusting the creative soul inside me, and choosing to build a life that actually feels like mine.
I'm stepping into the unknown with a whole lot of ideas, determination, and faith that I can create something more fulfilling for myself.
The hamster wheel stops HERE.

Recovery From A Mini Heartbreak - ADHD Style!
Episode Show Notes
In this episode of Girl, I Don’t Know, I’m taking you through my mini heartbreak—and how I’m getting over it, ADHD style.
Sometimes heartbreak isn’t completely about the person. Sometimes it’s about realizing you’ve found yourself in a familiar cycle again. It’s about looking back at the intuition, signs, and signals you noticed along the way but chose to overlook…and finally having to sit with what those choices taught you.
I also talk about how ADHD can make heartbreak feel especially consuming. Between sensitivity to rejection and criticism, emotional intensity, and hyperfixation, it can be easy to spend way too much time trying to understand, repair, or solve a situation that requires another person’s participation.
And eventually, you have to recognize: you cannot resolve something by yourself when the other person isn’t willing to resolve it with you.
So what do I do instead?
I redirect all that energy back into me.
New projects. New hobbies. New goals. Creativity. Movement. Things that remind me that my life is much bigger than one emotional situation—and I’m already starting to feel better.
Tune in as I share my personal heartbreak regimen, how I interrupt the hyperfixation cycle, and what I’m doing to get myself excited about my own life again.
In this episode:
Heartbreak and repeating familiar emotional cycles
Ignoring intuition and recognizing the lesson afterward
ADHD, rejection sensitivity, and hyperfixation
Knowing when to stop trying to “fix” a connection
Redirecting your attention back toward yourself
Why new projects and hobbies are part of my healing process
My personal ADHD-style heartbreak regimen
Sometimes the comeback starts when you stop trying to figure them out and start becoming obsessed with your own life again. 💕
