Every Friday, best friends Liv and Amy dig into the paranormal. That means haunted houses, real demonic possession cases, conspiracies, and the true stories that keep us up at night. Five seasons in, and we still can't sleep with the lights off.
New episodes every Friday. Follow the show so you never miss one. Season 6 drops September 18.
Zozo, Pazuzu, Asmodeus and the terrifying true stories behind the Ouija board, plus three real possession and exorcism cases. Girls Gone Spooky Ep. 174.
This week Liv and Amy take on demons in two very different ways. Liv digs into Ouija board demons: the ideomotor effect vs. the paranormal, Zozo's infamous "figure eight" pattern and where the legend really began, listener stories that will make you say goodbye every single time, and what Christianity, Judaism, and Islam each say about talking boards. Then Amy covers three possession and exorcism cases: George Lukins, the "Yatton Demoniac," Arne Cheyenne Johnson and the Glatzel case that inspired The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, and Sister Maria Crocifissa's mysterious "Devil's Letter." Plus Practical Magic 2 and ACOTAR rereads (spoilers!).

173. Conspiracies & Unsolved Mysteries
This week it's conspiracy theories, unsolved mysteries, and one big question: hoax or real?
Amy kicks us off in 1855 with the Devil's Footprints — a single-file line of hoof-shaped tracks that traveled 60-100 miles through the snow across Devon, England (and somehow reappeared in 2009, Belgium, and a remote island in the Indian Ocean). Liv follows with the full, deeply upsetting history of Project MK Ultra, the CIA's real Cold War mind-control program. Then Amy makes the case that the Zodiac Killer and the Black Dahlia murderer were the same man, and Liv closes the episode with Skinwalker Ranch — the military-funded property where "high strangeness," UFOs, and the terrifying "hitchhiker effect" collide.

Amy brings the British chaos with the Carlisle Cursing Stone — a 500-year-old curse carved into a public art piece — and closes it out with the bizarre true story of the Hexham Heads, two carved stone heads linked to werewolf sightings in 1970s England.Real history, real curses (allegedly), and a whole lot of "why would you do that."
