Growing up as a free-lunch child and experiencing homelessness as a teenager, she relied on her faith and softball to carry her through life's toughest seasons, with the sport ultimately opening the door to a college education. From serving in the Army as a civilian to leading large nonprofit organizations, Krystal's journey is a testament to the belief that where you begin doesn't define where you can go.
