Former NYPD Sergeant Says Olney ‘House of Horrors’ Case May Be Unprecedented

Law enforcement officials and FBI agents are actively investigating a residential property in Philadelphia's Olney neighborhood linked to suspected serial killer "R.C." Horsch. Investigators are meticulously searching the three-story home and a basement laboratory for biological evidence connecting at least five missing women to the location, despite no human remains having been recovered yet. The probe intensified after the June arrest of Eugene Horsch on weapons and drug charges, which prompted authorities to examine potential chemical cremation methods and seize suspicious barrels and piping. A retired NYPD sergeant has described the unfolding situation as potentially unprecedented for the city and the entire nation given its enormous scope. Forensics teams plan to continue their systematic search floor by floor before bringing in heavy machinery to excavate the property.
