Die kommenden Wochen haben einen besonderen Charakter. Insbesondere der November ist ein dunkler Monat. Erst im Advent wird es wieder heimeliger, wenn die Lichter angezündet werden. Vorher aber gibt es unter anderem noch den Volkstrauertag und den Toten- oder Ewigkeitssonntag. "Den Tod zu verdrängen, das ist sicher nicht klug", meint Peter Wick. Und so ist es auch sinnvoll, wenn die Kirche einen besondere Sonntag dafür vorsieht. Es tut den Menschen gut, sich immer wieder einmal daran zu erinnern, dass man sterben muss.
