Episode 139: MTB Mayhem

The Gnar Gnomies and Brethren went on an adventure in Western North Carolina. Day one was taking on the classic Tsali Trail system and day two was Fire Mountain in Cherokee, NC. Spoiler alert, the trails were awesome each in their own special, and unique ways. Tsali giving us some fast XC riding with epic views and Fire Mtn the Gnar enduro style riding. This podcast was recorded at Pete in our groups campground, Rose Creek between the Tsali and Fire Mountain days. We got to hear from most of the fellas in the group, and just a fun casual roundtable on a rad dude trip. Hope you enjoy!

Use Gnar Gnomies to save 50 percent off your stay at Rose Creek Campground. https://rosecreekcamping.com/

Episode 138: The Lawyer Survives Mudbound!

Not only did he survive folks, the dude thrived. We think The Lawyer has found his new true passion of offroad cycling sub culture, gravel endurance cycling. You can tell in this episode the fire is lit deep inside his gnarvana soul that he yearns for the champagne gravel and sufferfest. We hear about the insanely gnarly conditions of this years Unbound race and what he went through from start to finish. So throw all that wet riding gear in the dryer, kick back with your favorite bevi and enjoy this episode Gnar Gnation!

His coach: https://www.instagram.com/travis_mccabe/?next=%2F

Coaching company: https://www.instagram.com/boundlesscoaching_/?next=%2F

His Bike: https://www.instagram.com/laufcycles/?next=%2F

His tires: https://www.instagram.com/conti_bicycle/?next=%2F

His groupset: https://www.instagram.com/sramroad/?next=%2F

Episode 137: Sixes Pit is back! Featuring Angel Rivera

We got Angel on to share his story of bikes, running one of the most successful bike shops in GA, shutting it down after a long good run, taking time off and traveling the country, and then coming back in a different way to the GA bike scene. Great to be able to share a positive story of a bike shop that is actually coming back into the GA market rather than another one shutting down. We discuss how the look and feel of a bike shop is changing to stay alive and what he is doing to try to set himself up for success.

About Sixes Pit Garage
Sixes Pit Garage was built on a simple idea: bikes bring people together.
What started years ago as a community bike shop has evolved into a more personal, rider-focused experience centered around quality service, honest communication, and a genuine passion for cycling. Today, Sixes Pit Garage operates from the home front, allowing us to provide one-on-one attention, flexible scheduling, pickup and drop-off options, and a level of care that can be difficult to find in larger retail environments.
This is a new chapter for Sixes Pit Garage, but the mission remains the same:
Build community. Do great work. Help people ride.
Let Me Ride.

Book an appointment with him now: https://book.squareup.com/appointments/1e7fod2dwgwfe2/location/DD7KKK7B9HF4Y/services
