Adrienne Green: Designing a Values-Aligned Life of Travel, Family, and Freedom
Discover how a former finance professional redesigned her life around time, location, and financial freedom, traveling the world with her family, homeschooling her children, and scaling businesses with the support of virtual assistants and AI-powered systems.
In this episode, Lisa and Adrienne Green discuss:
Shifting definitions of success across career stages
Leaving W‑2 employment for entrepreneurship
Time and energy management using the 20/80 principle
Leveraging virtual assistants and AI in modern businesses
Values-aligned living, world travel, and homeschooling
Key Takeaways:
Success evolves, and it’s essential to periodically reassess whether your work still aligns with your core values of time, location, and financial freedom.
Moving from a W‑2 role to entrepreneurship requires embracing full responsibility, “you eat what you hunt,” and being willing to navigate the mental hurdles that come with it.
Focusing on the most impactful 20% of your work and delegating the remaining 80% is a key unlock for both business growth and personal energy management.
AI is most powerful when it augments skilled human assistants rather than replacing them, enabling more personalized, higher-quality support for clients and customers.
Designing a values-based life can create lasting impact by giving parents more time to shape their children’s experiences, learning, and core values through intentional, time-rich parenting.
“Spend the money on a virtual assistant before you feel like you need them, because if you're giving them your bottom 80%, you can spend your time on your top 20% and your business will multiply.” - Adrienne Green
About Adrienne Green: Adrienne Green is a former finance and corporate professional turned real estate entrepreneur, coach, and systems-focused business builder who helps investors and founders create time, location, and financial freedom through leverage, delegation, and scalable operations. Her journey spans from working in traditional W-2 finance roles to becoming a teacher, then transitioning into real estate investing and entrepreneurship, where she built systems that allowed her to scale income while reducing operational burden. Today, she mentors others on building “hands-off” businesses using virtual assistants, structured systems, and AI-augmented workflows that keep humans at the center of decision-making while improving efficiency. She is also a world traveler and mother who homeschools her children, intentionally designing a values-aligned lifestyle that prioritizes presence, freedom, and family time over conventional career paths. Across her work, speaking, and community involvement, including participation in entrepreneurial masterminds like GoBundance Women, she emphasizes delegation, the 80/20 principle, and building businesses that support both wealth creation and a meaningful, flexible life.
