Why Do We Keep Managing Important Goals From Memory?
Your brain was not designed to be the database for every important goal you have.
We remember what we need to do. What we’re waiting on. What we promised ourselves we’d finish this week. What someone told us three weeks ago. What needs to happen before something else can happen.
Until we don’t.
This episode explores what happens when an important goal lives across your memory, notes app, calendar, emails, screenshots, and random pieces of paper—and why accomplishment gets easier to manage when the goal has somewhere to live.
The point isn’t that you aren’t capable of remembering things. It’s that important goals contain too much information to depend on memory alone.
Give your goal somewhere to live. Goal Accomplishment Made Easy™ (app.goalaccomplishment.com.) keeps the plan, schedule, dependencies, progress, and changes connected in one place. Visit app.goalaccomplishment.com (app.goalaccomplishment.com.).
Your brain should be solving problems—not trying to remember where you left off.

Why Don’t We Plan for the Decisions Our Goals Require?
Most people plan what they’re going to do. Far fewer plan what they need to decide first.
A business launch can look like a list of tasks. So can writing a book, going back to school, moving, or planning a major event.
But underneath those tasks are decisions that determine what the tasks should actually be.
What are you selling? Who is it for? What outcome does the degree need to produce? Which location actually works? What does the event need to accomplish?
When those decisions happen late, completed work may need to be revisited. The issue isn’t always execution. Sometimes the decision-making sequence was never accounted for.
This episode explores why decisions belong inside the accomplishment of a goal—and why some decisions have much more influence on your timeline than others.
Goal Accomplishment Made Easy™ (app.goalaccomplishment.com) accounts for decisions, dependencies, assumptions, capacity, and the sequence required to move a goal forward. See what it can build around your goal at app.goalaccomplishment.com (app.goalaccomplishment.com).
Your goal deserves more than a list of activities. It deserves an understanding of what has to be decided before those activities can actually work.

Why Do We Assume Successful People Know How to Accomplish Everything?
Being exceptional at one thing doesn’t make you an expert at everything.
A CEO can be brilliant at running a company and have no idea how to plan a book. A lawyer can be exceptional in their profession and still be starting from scratch when they decide to build a personal brand. An entrepreneur can know exactly how to grow a business and have no idea where to begin with a completely different personal goal.
That isn’t incompetence. It’s unfamiliarity.
In this episode, we’re talking about what happens when highly capable people encounter goals they’ve never accomplished before—and why intelligence, discipline, and experience don’t eliminate the need for a methodology.
You shouldn’t have to become a project manager just because you decided to accomplish something important.
Goal Accomplishment Made Easy™ (app.goalaccomplishment.com.)brings professional execution methodology to meaningful goals, building the phases, milestones, deliverables, tasks, dependencies, and schedule behind the outcome. Visit app.goalaccomplishment.com (app.goalaccomplishment.com).
You already know how to be excellent at what you do. Your next goal may simply require a different way to manage it.
